Principal's Message

Dear Families:

Welcome to Bronx Early College Academy for Teaching & Learning (affectionately referred to as BECA), where every day is an opportunity for growth, learning, and community.  As the principal of our wonderful school, I am thrilled to welcome both new and returning families to what promises to be an exciting and productive school year.

At BECA, we are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and intellectually stimulating environment for our students. Our dedicated teachers and staff are passionate about fostering a love of learning and wellness, helping each student achieve their personal and professional goals. We believe in the power of collaboration between home and school, and we encourage you to become an active participant in your child’s education.

We understand that effectively managing the demands of daily life can be challenging.  Frequent communication and flexibility are key to a successful partnership, and we are here to support you every step of the way. Whether through regular updates, school events, virtual programs, or one-on-one meetings, we aim to keep you informed and engaged in our school community.

We have many exciting initiatives planned for this year, including our International Baccalaureate Career Related Certificate Program, Intensives, Career Apprentice Programs, Food Pantry, Family Support Workshop Series, and even Laundry Services. We are confident that, together, we can create an enriching and positive experience for all our students and families.
